End of School Year - Declutter List

Another school year in the books! Tackle any organization from this past year and get a head start on the new term with this End of School Year Decluttering List! Available in English, Spanish and Italian!
Parents, guardians, siblings, whatever your title may be – involve children in on this checklist and get them to choose their favourite projects, artwork, tests, creations, whatever stands out as special to them from the year. For anything they are unsure about, take a photo of it and make an album if you have a computer/phone or create an email address for them to send the file to. It is important to include young minds in this process and getting them comfortable with decision making and appreciate the art of letting go. If they are having difficulty, use a container to set limits on how much they can keep and ask them to communicate what feelings or thoughts are surfacing.
Decluttering at the end of the school year sets the stage for a fresh, organized, and productive start to the upcoming academic term. It promotes a sense of well-being, reduces stress, and allows you to create a conducive environment for learning and personal growth.

Spring Cleaning Checklist
Spring is in the air ~ as Mother Nature shows us what it is like to start over, there is no better time to shift any stagnant energy in the home and create a lighter, airier space. After a winter of closed windows, fire/heating, cooking, & layers of things that end up building up – dust and allergens fill the home creating areas that are poor for your health, especially anyone who suffers from allergies. Find a room by room breakdown through the links below!
Vision Boards

Vision Board 2023

What is a vision board – it is essentially a physical (or digital) manifestation of your goals. It can involve collecting images or items that speak to the future you, you want to create. There are many ways you can achieve this and the great thing about it is that it is specific and special to you, so the only right way to do it, is what works for you! This can be separated to personally or professionally, or it can be merged. However you see or want to envision your future!
Vision Board w/ Text 2023

Kelsey Patel (Author & Reiki master) , explains, "If we don't have a clear direction of where we're headed or where we want to go, it can be very easy to get caught up in things that aren't actually good for us. Creating a vision board is a powerful way of getting to know yourself and what it is you truly want to manifest and call into your life."
Vision boards are a great way to self-reflect and take stock of your life, after all, we are constantly changing and so are our goals. It is likely that we are often too busy and caught up in life to sit, process and see where we are at, so to have a direction to head in is good for navigation.
Let your board inspire action: visualizing your goals is not enough— taking action and being open to life also helps make things happen! Reflect back on your board and remind yourself to take small steps toward your goals regularly. This is why it is important to have it somewhere visible or at least easy to access. For us, we went with digital route and wanted it somewhere that we look at daily, so a desktop background works as a perfect solution for us. Some people prefer a physical board and to hang it on their wall or notice board for daily inspiration. It totally comes down to personal preference. We recommend keeping a photo of it on your phone, so you can access it at a moments notice.
Two Thousand & Twenty-Three Goals

A great way to know what you would like for the new year, is to reflect on the previous year. Writing down goals frees up some of that mental clutter so that you can visualize the things that you want to achieve and see your hopes and dreams come to fruition. Having something tangible to review and reflect on helps with keeping things on track and offers a sense of accomplishment when you can check things off, which in return, keeps you motivated and moving forward.

Monthly Budget

Creating a monthly budget helps you to see the breakdown on where your money needs to be spent, while staying organized by knowing how much is left over. Using a budget offers insight on where cuts can be made, but also creating a space for other members of the family (if shared) to include their spending as well.
